Waiting to board:

Whew!  If you have never gone through security before, it's like running a race.  You gotta take your shoes off, put carry-ons on the belts,(if you're a girl) your purse and all of your jewelry.  *Deep breath*.  One of my greatest pleasures in life is riding that little train that takes you to your terminal.  It goes so fast, and frankly if people weren't around, I would hang on the ceiling bars and have the time of my life...That cheered me up a little bit.  In a few minutes I will be off...oh and I'll try to think of the other thing that really cheers me up...the Beatles.

The thoughts and feelings of me:

Standing in the security line of the airport:

Everyone has been giving me strange looks ever since I came into this place.  At least, I have a reason unlike some people.  Before I came here, I had to endure one of the most painful moments of my life...leaving my parents.  Leaving my best friends, leaving everything I'd ever known, my everything, and starting fresh.  I can still feel the burning in my throat and tears stinging my eyes and cheeks where they have trickled down them.  I don't want to leave and I don't think my parents really want me to either, but mom told me this is for my own good and that I can get the best out of my education if I leave and go up north.  I love the scorching heat that I am used to, and can count on one hand how many times I have seen snow.

Now, I am left to wait in this continual line of perpetual misery, and to top it off, the man in front of me wreaks of feet, that have sweated for 10 years.  This should be good for me shouldn't it?  The line's finally moving, better get my ticket to hell out.
